Though they are tad difficult to maintain, a cast iron BBQ remains popular. The reason is you get a quickly cooked food and it can hold heat for a long time and get an evenly grilled juicy kebab.

I have a cast iron sink in my kitchen and in my utility rooms too.. What you said in this post is absolutely right when it comes in the case of the sink! I just love this sink because the thickness of cast iron makes its resistant to acids and protects against chipping, dents, and scratches. And they are easy to clean and maintain. Because of its thickness and heat retention properties, we can also use hotter water for clean-up jobs, because the water will stay hot longer. the only problem i found is it is too heavy to carry and very expensive.. but still it is okey for the long term investment.
